I am pleased to announce that PRF will be reinstating Project EPIC starting in February!
Project EPIC is an unprecidented, one of a kind database that could change ghost research as we know it. Using a mySQL database structure, CGI and other tools, our programmer has created a way for particpating researchers to add to a database. The database results, statistics and image graphs, will be available online for all to use. So far, in the ghost hunting field, there is nothing quite like it.

The database will allow researchers to identify patterns occuring over several cases, that may in turn lead to new investigative techniques and or theories. For instance, the new database will allow us to figure out (statistically) what percentage of people who experience a haunting, live in a dwelling that is more than 100 years old. Or, how many haunting cases have reported "excessive" light bulb usage witin. It will even tell us the absolutely most typical hour of the day that people experience haunt phenomena.

The database participation and input (from researchers) access will be limited to teams and individuals that are highly trusted and dedicated to the cause. Limiting the amount of people who provide the input to the database will reduce or partically eliminate the potenital for spamming dishonest information into the system. This will give everyone a look at clean and authentic statistics. Not to mention, the database works in real time and you will litterally be able to see the results of the database increase as fields are completed by the ghost hunters!

Paraex is seeking long relationships!

We are looking for a few good clients, that is! We are seeking out families or business owners who have haunted locations and who wish to participate in extended case times. We believe that quantity in cases is the wrong way to go. A lot of paranormal groups will try and notch their belts with as many cases as possible, in hopes of gaining references. While this is somewhat important, we want you to know that Paraex is way past that stage. We are Central Ohio's oldest running organization dealing with the paranormal.
We are more interested in quality cases with people who want serious answers.

Answers do not come overnight, from one investigation. No one can tell you if your home or business is haunted in just one visit. Lets get real and be honest here. If you sincerely believe you have paranormal phenomena occuring in your home, do you want some fly-by-night group of amateurs troucing around your bedroom for one night, never to hear from them again? We didn't think so.

Paraex wishes to conduct serious research into authentic hauntings. If we ran across something fantastic in the field (activity wise), we definitely wouldn't just abandon you just because we already got a "cool" apparition video from your home or business. We are in it for the long run. If it takes a year then so be it. As long as you welcome us, we will continue to work with you in solving the riddle.
